things

- my husband of almost one year and I are headed out tomorrow for a weekend away!

- I scored awesome seats for when the Yankees come play the Rangers. The game is almost sold out and the only tickets available were nosebleeds, but with a little female ingenuity (Ebay) I was able to get us in the lower infield. And I can't stop bragging. *pats self on back* I can't wait to give them to Will!

- my favorite face wash that I've used for yeeears suddenly went missing. I've ordered it over and over again from all kinds of weird places only to have my order canceled as out of stock. I even wrote a letter to St. Ives begging to tell me where I could find it (it's still listed on their site - I also wrote ANOTHER, angry letter when several days passed with no response). Today one of those orders came through and shipped! Six bottles of clear skin, on it's way to my open arms.

- in-laws gave us cash for our trip. <3

- last weekend I made an amazing mulberry pie. I picked the berries and rolled out the dough and it was all from scratch. I'm still bragging about that, too.

- I finally used my Christmas gift Target gift card from my boss and ordered some kitchen stuff! Also on it's way.

- and I redeemed points from a program at work for a Williams-Sonoma gift card. I CANNOT wait to get it. I've already got my wish list ready!

- basically, all is good!

- how are you?

Hi friend. I miss you at work today but know you and the hubs are going to have a great trip. CAN'T BELIEVE it was a year ago that ya'll got married. TIME FLIES.

ALSO, KRISTA. Let's have a talk. I love you but...

"Six bottles of clear skin, on it's way to my open arms."

AND

"Also on it's way."

IN THE SAME BLOG.

Well then, let's just say it's a word I "invented" like "ya'll"...

All is mediocre ;p

Glad to hear it's going well! I would be proud of me too if I pulled all that off.

Kisses, my baby, I miss you today! Emailing is much better than listening to ESPN for six hours...

Am I your baby? In that case, kisses back. I'll keep a texting to distract you from the dreaded ESPN. At least it's not uber-conservative talk radio with Bossman on the way to NOLA from KY...?

Tammysrecipes.com has an AWESOME recipe for cherry-mulberry pie. I've made it twice and always get asked for the recipe. Too bad our idiot electric company had our *tiny* (as in nowhere near the power line) mulberry tree cut down this year!
